It sure was, I also think that AOL/Time Warner has something to do with this.
I mean back then, you had Crossfire, Moneyline, Inside Business, Sports Tonight, Daybreak, Take Two and even Prime News as well as Showbiz Today.
and I also loved The Point w/Greta Van Susteran before she left CNN for Fox News.
I think that the year 2005 was the year CNN reached its peak, but I think that CNN needs to bring back Crossfire and get the network back on track and also, Greta should go back to CNN.

He sure was and also, Robert Novak died, too.
God Bless Tom Braden and Thank You for giving us Crossfire.
R.I.P. to Tom and also, I wonder why Robert Novak is not getting any love these days.

Thank you for this! As far as I can tell, you are the only YouTube source for CNN of this era. It was great seeing Braden again, however briefly.
In 1986, there was a midnight CNN newscast (which aired either just before or just after Crossfire) and I've still got the title music stuck in my head. Do you happen to have it, or know the name of the program?
Heard Braden has passed. He was a good half of a great team.
