The New System [HD Enabled]

A demonstration of gaming smoothness on my new system detailed in the Hardware Confusion 2009 article. Full system specifications here:

Video shows Crysis Warhead and Fallout 3, recording starts the moment the game has reached its main menu, and a saved game is then loaded up. As can be seen, there is no distinguishable stuttering or slowdowns even right after the saved game has loaded, nor during heavy combat and explosions.

Note the following:

- The Fraps video recording utility has halved the framerate and slightly increased loading times.
- Crysis Warhead at 1920x1200, DX10 'Cheap' Very High mode. Runs at 35-40FPS without Fraps.
- Fallout 3 at 1920x1200, All Settings Max, 8xAA/16xAF. Runs 50-60FPS (VSync capped) without Fraps.

Most newer systems with the newer nvidia cards can get graphics like this but those fps's kick azz. Love it when u went into maximum speed in Warhead that sht is fcn fast as hell.  My system can run similar looking graphics but the speed of this and smoothness goes far beyond it. Excellent job.

Wow man your completely into hardcore PC gaming.

I'm stuck with my PC until I graduate. I still have 3 years left until I'm 16 and I have 5 years until I graduate.

My computer Specs:

AVG 7600 gs 512 VRAM

1GB RAM

AMD 2.60 Ghz single-core processor

500 GB hard drive

I'm tired of my PC, but its all I got for another 3 years.

Then I'm going to try to get the best Alien Ware laptop there is.

Its going to be so fun.

That sucks. The ironic thing is that my motherboard just died too. Fortunately I actually had a backup motherboard that I bought a year ago that I thought was defective, but have since fixed the issue.
