Observation: Its not the music or artists that are crap today, its more so the music "industry". Remember what the masses are allowed to view is under the control of the record execs, promoters, and whomever else has their hand in the pot. They don't give a damn about good music, they only care about what sells. The demand for quality music has shifted to a bunch of neo nonsense. Until the masses demand more we will continue to be force fed this garbage...

I miss good singing like this today. I wish the music industry would honor good and exceptional singers instead of parading studio made singers that sound the same, no originality and no style.

Naked talent, no voice modulators to help get the pitch right like live crap now. Luther just brought raw truth and nothing less. This tune truly brings a tear to my eye, not in a love song and sad message way, but just for the the pure talent and sincerity of what he represented and was doing back in the 80's when he was comin' on. Great and rare footage here. Thanks soooo much for the post.
