Tame Impala Interview on Side B - Not A Rock Band

After hearing their promising debut EP, I was skeptical as to whether or not Tame Impala could deliver on their first full-length release, Innerspeaker. And, well, they did. The album is a hazy mess of swirling guitars and psychedelic Lennon-esque vocals. Speaking to the band shed an interesting light on their music.

I really love these guy's music but I absolutely hate how they seem fed up of themselves and of what they're doing, a "Fuck this I don't care and I don't wanna do it anymore, whatever works..." sort of attitude.
