Let's Play Banjo-Tooie - Part 47: It's Like Wii Fit For Your Thumb

A few segments ago I said that this wasn't going to be that bad. Dunno what the hell I was thinking.

If you can manage to make your finger or arm twitch on the button instead of actually pressing it, this is a lot easier, but I couldn't get that to consistently work, especially with the way I was laying down to play this.

I had the most trouble with this out of the entire game, and I can honestly say that I beat her legitly. I've only done it once. The trick is to not hit the button as fast as you can, because however fast you push the button, that's how fast Canary Mary will go, and it'll be harder to beat her. What you need to do, is just tap the button at a nice steady pace, and when she gets close to passing you, then mash like crazy, then when your ahead of her, slow back down. Repeat, Trust me, this works.

The problem I was having with the first race was that I couldn't even catch up at the beginning. The second one went much smoother for me.

Mario Party 1 was the worst with those types of mini games.... The absolute worst is where you have to rotate the stick around as fast as you can. I remember getting blisters from it. -_-
