tell me, if water will flow uphill too (and it will, you can test it yourself), what would your spirit level show? ;) My point is, water would be affected and be pulled up as well. So your spirit level proves nothing at all ;) It's like putting a magnet near the compass and claiming north is where that magnet is :)

PS. I am not saying it cannot be an optical illusion, it can and probably is, I am just saying that spirit level cannot show that if it was really magnetic hill. ;:)
