my dad said when he was younger he used to get his dad (my grandpa) to drill a hole into a quarter and then he'd steal a spoon from the drawer and tap around the edges to turn it into a ring. this reminded me of that.

Fantastic video!
-
use a nail and hammer to put the hole in the middle and then place the blade through the hole to cut center out., that way no power tools are needed.
-
wtf
-
there's got to be a way without a drill :S
-
My ring (I'm still tapping it) is no where near as neat as that! However, I'm having a lot more trouble getting the hole in the middle. Anyone help me?
-
@yrusonoitall buy a jewelers mandrel and a plastic mallet, drill a hole in the center of a quarter - put it on the mandrel, hammer it down to size, it will start to curve on you, once it's to the right size hammer it flat on the mandrel. Practice makes perfect
-
He's probably using a drill or dremel to cut out the middle.
