Cut ALL subsidies to all energy sectors and let the markets decide. Enforce contract laws and environmental laws and don't let polluters get away. Do not continue to fund solar companies that go bankrupt and stick citizens us the bill.

Involving Congress in deciding what energy markets get subsidies will keep companies and citizens dependent on a broke government and more socialism, rife with unintended consequences (such as the housing market with Fannie and Freddie).

There is some controversy regarding the reason for global climate change, but there is no doubt that a move toward sustainable energy is the way of the future. Creating technology that uses less energy to do the same work is the best way to achieve this since it is unlikely that without traditional fuel we can generate enough power to keep our economic engine running. We need to reduce our need for all forms of energy by becoming more fuel efficient, not by sacrificing our standard of living.

@eastonpw As a person who has lived had times of water crisis, I can safely say, I would rather have water if I had to make a choice between all those things listed. You cannot live without water. People with cancer would probably give up those things to have there health back. Choose life first.

Thank you Bernie Sanders! It is important to know that there are people from different generations who are fighting the Keystone XL. In fact, I saw the video of two young Canadian teenage boys who wanted to see the Tar Sands for themselves.

It's incredibly powerful, so much so that the Huffington Post decided to cover it! Go to their website and search for "Tar Trek."
