I don't think so, I've never made a tutorial on Spriting but I think I know the tutorial you're talking about, don't remember who it was by or what it was called though.
That sprite you're talking about was a little bit different, it was a Salamence/Meganium fusion also, but was orange, the head was facing the other way, it had wings and some other minor changes, I saw it when I was starting out too, wasn't a bad tutorial. :p

Lol, I created a thread on the Serebii Forums with almost all of these Sprites in it, [I'm Joshp123 on there] that was when I was like 11, it had 6,000+ Views last time I checked so you most likely saw it from there.
If you still don't believe me I can probably send you a link to the page. :P
