The 1985 German Grand Prix held on the Nürburgring GP-Circuit which completed construction in 1984. This was the first German Grand Prix at the new 2.8 mile GP-Circuit, the first German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring since 1976, when it was held at the 14.2 mile Nordschleife (which can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALpT_kYqA5Q) and the second Formula One race at the new Nürburgring. BBC commentary by James Hunt (the last driver to win a German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring) and Tony Jardine. This was sadly to be German driver Manfred Winkelhock's last Formula One race, he was killed at a sportscar race at Mosport in Canada.
