Here's your 2.5% waste increase you'll be paying for everyone. They claim their energy effiecient, but where's the low alternative fuel vehicles they claim on their website. They ask us to recycle and then want more money for fuel costs. Why don't they "THINK GREEN" instead of more GREEN DOLLARS from us?

Please protest at http://www.stocktongov.com, this must be done in writing as just showing up at the protest at City Hall April 15, 2008 will not get your vote counted.

Thank you!

  • you are a fucking loser, why are you filming a garbage truck and putting on youtube

  • I'm not the one chasing trash trucks with a camera twit!

  • you must be a garbage truck lover, get a life!

  • Yeah, WM Sux dude but get a life! Or at least a hobby. Maybe take that dog for a walk. These workers have enough dicks following them around with with cameras. Most WM trucks have 3 to15 minute automatic idle shut downs to save fuel. And GPS systems. The stopping and going comment was just stupid! Should he park the truck shut it of and drag the neighborhoods trash to the truck?

  • Our waste service is contracted through the city and part of your city services bill such as water, sewer and garbage. So if you cancel one, you have to cancel it all. Sorta got you by the balls approach. The city gets like 23% profit from the services so of course they approved a recent tax increase.

  • The easy way to do this is Cancel your service. Stop giving Waste Management your money. You can still get the same service from another trash company but a cheaper price

  • Yeah your right! There are a lot of things to worry about right now. This garbage increase is one of the many things we don't need right now and I believe it's our civic duty to tell the local government to just let waste services deal with gas increases. But we need 50% of the public to tell them or we'll all be paying this 2.5% increase anyways. I appreciate the comment and wish you well!
