Lisa Beamer is the widow of Todd Beamer, who was on Flight 93 that went down in Shanksville, Pennsylvania on 9/11.

Beamer sat and talked to a Verizon operator for 15 minutes, didn't care to bother his wife in his last minutes on earth.

Iconoclast, who are you to judge what someone does in their last moments on earth? Perhaps he didn't want his wife to hear the horror of his last minutes on earth so that she would relive those moments over and over again. Also, there was no way for Todd to know that those would in fact be his last moments on earth. What if the passengers successfully overtook the airplane and landed it safely? You're shameless.

She is an extraordinary woman, going through something as awful as 9/11 and losing your husband/father in a way like that. He wasn't there to see his daughter born, to see their boys grow up. God bless her for getting out of bed every day, pressing forward for her kids, family, God. Keep it up, Mrs. Beamer, we're right behind, supporting and encouraging you.

@iconoclast911 he didnt call his wife cause she was pregnant and didnt want to risk worrying her if it turned out to be nothing because too much stress and worry while pregnant causes problems in the pregnancy obviously you never read her book wher the transcripts are in there and he said that he didnt want to call his wife
