Very informative and I appreciate you sharing your knowledge, but you're so monotone...it's like being back in Geometry class...made me want to fall asleep.

Very good advice. Love that you recommend using a notebook to list items you feel you need on a daily basis. A couple of items I always keep in my kit that cost little more than nothing, are large contractor trash bags, and a pencil rather than a pen. I try to keep things as low tech as possible, and a pencil has a zero percent failure rate and you can write upside down with it whereas a pen can be temperamental, especially in cold weather. Good video though. Keep up the good work.

3 5 mins on the importance of a note book.
good items just need to stick to the edc facts a bit more - slow moving but good info

Do you really carry that much junk in your Tactical Murse everyday?

Your EDC is missing tear gas grenades, flash bangs, homemade pipe bombs, and molotov cocktails.

Great idea for all with regards to the notepad.

@driftoholik Pretty sure he said he takes it in his truck when he's off somewhere, so I'd imagine he doesn't carry it on his person as such, but it's EDC that's essentially accessible wherever he goes should he need it. As such it seems like a good system. I'm sure there's a couple of things here and there that could be modified, as ever, but he comes across as a level headed guy and it seems pretty sensible to me. I'd whack in some water purification tablets for sure however.

I like the way you have your edc setup would like to know where you got some the things from.

Are you serious? Do you carry this everywhere you go? That's more like BOB or car EDC. I wouldn't last a week carrying this everywhere I go, which kind of takes away the idea, that you are somewhat prepared even if bad situation will caught you with your pants down :-)
Why did you prefer a black bag, instead of a drab one?
I'm going to order a Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon 2 for my edc, I think i'm going for black too.

@superjus95 I try to stay away from the "GI" look. Black is a universal color, that doesn't scream "MILITARY" like Drab can do. I feel it simply looks more like a camera bag. Just personal preference.

EDC is whatever you want it to be. Some folks BOB is their EDC.

You said it's not a bug out bag but I have a recommendation. Having some length of wire handy to make snares for squirrels/rabbits could mean life-saving protein and since this is an EDC you would always be prepared. A fishing line and some hooks would also take up very little space but could feed you very well. Fishing line could be wrapped around something small like a backup flashlight without taking up virtually any space and you could even use the flashlight or stick as a fishing reel.

@musiceuphony Great advice. I have "upgraded" to the Mongo Versipack. Contains just about all you see here plus a (bail out/survival) case that bounces in and out of the pack/truck, depending on what I am doing.
