  • 1:00 What an insight! The Chinese coach explains why the Chinese footwork is superior to the European footwork. It’s better to hit 2 hard forehands than 1 hard forehand and 1 backhand block. You have the whole table to use your forehand. I recommand this video! ☆☆☆☆☆

  • @tyoungos in reality it would be 1 crappy forehand (while jumping to the far left) followed by two backhand blocks and losing the point by a smash from the european...

  • @roenie1 (stronger shots because you are not running as much while executing them)

  • @tyoungos by forced back i mean that he can be forced to move back to where he came from (right side of the table, as we look at it in the video). Don't be too quick to adopt this mostly forehand style of movement without thinking about its downsides. You are leaving open the wide angles and you will be running to get there. Whereas if you used more backhand, you will have stronger shots as long as you train your BH and protect your right hip as a placement target. Agree?

  • @tyoungos There's weaknesses too.. if the opponent plays to the far forehand side, chinese player has to hit while jumping. After the jump he is open to being forced back and to play 2 consecutive balls to his backhand until he gets there. This is a lot of running. There may be merit to a european instead playing backhand and forehand and simply using quick footwork to minimize the right hip target as a weakness. Switching BH/FH is faster dan walking. Just have a strong BH.

  • @shaks603 you're kinda missing the point here... which is to get yourself in the most comfortble position you can for the shot, increasing your chances of, to put it in your words, putting the ball on the table

  • @seguso Lol think u need glasses hes getting most of them in

  • good job!

  • @tshirttime84 he probably thinks the ball gonna bounce up... heavy top spin... ball goes down after the bounce not up at low angle shots, in this video it makes it look like the ball isnt going in

  • @shaks603 its easy to put the ball on the table... but its hard to finish the point.. that shows the difference between pros and noobs, you cant win just by putting the ball on the table at higher levels... you need to learn footwork and technique that gives you the offense to finish the point, this type of fancy footwork is best left to the pros... you need to learn how to hit the ball first if you cant put the ball on the table ................

  • @seguso he is executing the exercise super fast , his success ratio is very good . chinese footwork is superior than euro . note that im euro player
