Transfer Xbox 360 Content from 20gb to 250gb Hard Drive (HD)

please dude tell me that if i get the rrod that if i transfer the data it wont be corrupted. like say i get a new xbox and put my old hard drive in. will it say it has been corrupted??

Can you do this with a flash drive instead of a transfer cable?

@GekiMS That should work just fine. The last time I checked I think that you can have up to a 16gb flash drive to use for your 360.

is there anyway you could swap memory? because i have a 20gig and my friend has a 250gig, and i use more memory than he does, so were going to swap harddrives...but we both need the memory to not be erased, any ideas or tips?

my 250 gig slim got its data curropted so im going to get a 320 and transfer it but can you transfer slim to slim harddrives

hi, i hope you get this message, i cant find the answer to my question anywhere. i have a really shit 60GB HD and its full, and my sister has a 250GB hard drive that she said she would swap with me. my question is, how can i just swap the data over? my idea was to put her saved content onto a memory stick, use a transfer cable to put my stuff on hers, then put her data onto my old HD. would that work or am i dreaming? thanks in advance

i got an xbox 360 arcade but no hard drive my question is i got a hard drive i took out of my ps3 and wanna know if i can use it on the xbox im thinking of getting a hdd shell and put the ps3 hdd in there do i just format it on the xbox to be able to use it

Can you transfer individual accounts? Right now, my sister and I share a 360, but I might gonna buy one for myself (the Slim version). So, offcourse, I only need to transfer my account, not hers.

@lotsofgames -how do you use so less data for every game.mine every xbox360 game takes on average of 6gb.i already have used 70 gb.and secondely my xbox is freezing but when i take out harddrive it doesnt.should i format it?thx .

New version doesn't need a disc. Just plug everything up and the prompt appears.
