@PHILANTHROPIST1988 Chaabi music which used by Dahmane and Akli was somehow the product of what we call today andalusian music.The Amazigh people were the ones who invaded Spain and were the majority there for century.

Chaabi music of Algiers and Kabylie is not something you can find in Arabia,it is purely an Algerian art.

So it is an Amazigh music.

Nasro and Hasni,I don't listen to a music that was born in whore houses.

Plus,the real old Rai music was influenced by Chawi Amazigh music

Ya Menfi is a song written and sang by Akli Yahyaten,a Kabyle Amazigh singer.This song was prohibited in Algeria in the 80's when I was a kid and when nobody heard of Rachid Taha.

Ya Rayah song is also written and sang by the Chawi Amazigh Dahmane el Harrachi.

Taha did not nothing but a cover and I heard him once saying that he is Amazigh himself.
