I totally agree with you about getting off the couch and experiencing the world. While it's trivial, people who bash other countries and the people who live there, foreign or not, bug the hell out of me. Countries like America aren't the only ones on Planet Earth. To the people who don't understand why someone would want to give up their U.S. Citizenship to live somewhere else, again, the U.S. isn't for everyone. It's not the be-all-end-all in regards to countries. Broaden your minds people!

While it is reasonable to have pet peeves, it is not ok to country-bash any country, including America. Yes, it is not the end all and be all, but it is where I am from and I will not encourage American-bashing. What I said applies to people who live in countries outside of America as well, they should explore other countries as well.

Whether or not I misunderstood your comment, I want to clarify. Some ppl don't understand why a person would want to give up citizenship of a country so many ppl try to come to,(often illegally) everyday. America has it's good and bad, and I wouldn't want to have been born anywhere else. But, a country isn't always going to be someone's cup of tea. Ppl shouldn't have to worry about being shunned for wanting to explore other options, regardless of nationality. Take chances, be happy. Period. :)

Oh no, I didn't mean that in a way of criticizing your comment. I am sorry for that. Sometimes I get comments that are very rude about America and I don't want to propel their arguments. Yes, I totally agree that America is not for everyone. It is good for people to travel may places to see which place they like the most.
