This is my fan tribute to Austria's first F1 worldchampion Jochen Rindt. He became the first posthumously worldchampion after his fatal accident in practice for the 1970 Italian Grand Prix.
From 1964 to 1970 he drove for Brabham, Cooper and Lotus.
In 1965 he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Ferrari 250 LM together with Masten Gregory.
Rindt was one of the most popular sportsmen in Austria and an excellent racing driver. He is also an inspiration for following generations and unforgotten.

Racing was so dangerous then. Those deaths gave a bad name to racing. Today its different. So long as drivers obey the safety rules, the risk of injury is very low

Ey man das sind echt tolles video die du da machst. 40 Jahre sind jetzt vergangen. Habe es damals nicht miterlebt. Klar bin ja auch 20. Es ist immer trauig so etwas zu sehen wenn einer ums leben kommt. R.I.P Jochen rindt.
