scares me to think this bike is now retro it seems like yesterday i rode one that was brand new from the bike shop and a quality make raleigh nottingham my home city its a shame raleigh have now sold out to japan so really this bike is a pure classic from the original raleigh nottingham days.

I've still got one in the same colour in my garage which was my 1980 Xmas present. The last time I rode on it was 1985 when I was 14. My uncle was an electronic boffin and helped me to make my own digital speedo for it. I also had sirens, a sports drinking bottle, dynamo front light (battery rear light) and a few other stuff.
Great bike, very solidly made and comfortable to ride and quite fast for a heavy bike; once did 40mph with only slight downhill assistance. Too heavy for wheelies!

Very heavy, I had one as a kid and it was hard to get going but when I got up to speed almost nothing could stop me.
Once my sister ran me over on it. It really hurt.
