Jobs are everywhere. Is this recession real at all? You can't walk three blocks through down town without seeing atleast 2 wanted signs.

hold on, I don't like harper at all, but can anyone confirm the fact of this clip? %50 higher then the US, that seams a bit steam, I know I've been layed off my painting job, but i was fairly certain that the US did have it worse then us, or at the verry least on par. (considering it started in the US..)

I agree, plus "Stevie" Harper also said that American (neo)conservatism was a "beacon of light for the rest of the world to follow", & that Canada was a "Socialist" North European state, can we say Stevie's a hypocrite boys & girls

I imagine a significant number of any new jobs created are not the same caliber as the ones lost. ie: Lower wage, parttime, contract or temporary. And as to 'acosell's' bank comment. We haven't had a bank collapse YET.
Harper and many that preceded him are selling this country down the river under the guise of Free Trade,NAFTA and SPP. Along with help from the Council of Chief Executives. When will people wake up? All parties have the same script regardless who you vote for.

Sure we've lost those jobs. It seems convenient for you to leave out stats on how many new jobs were generated over that time. Oh, and how about the fact that none of our banks have collapsed? That sure would be a kick in the pants. Thank goodness none of ours have, like all those banks in the USA!
