big freight elevator ! i like those floor indicators!

Before these were Kone MRL Traction elevators, what were they before modernization in 2000-2001?
-
wow that freight elevator was the biggest elevator i've seen, I liked the way that both of the elevators were both at the right floor so you didn't have to wait.

Yes, I like both elevators, and while the floor indicators are basic vandal resistant, the direction lanterns are very cool looking, since I rarely see those lanterns.

The old elevators were Montgomery Globe & Parallelogram geared traction elevators from 1976-1977, with a top mount machine room.

Yes, but the biggest elevator I was on was the Robert Lee Moore Hall's 10,000 lb. freight elevator.

Level 1 is locked off, since the music instruments are stored there, and the DH button stands for door hold.

Level 3M is the Mezzanine Level, which has the concert hall, and the walkway that connects the Music Building with the Bass Concert Hall. But that's very confusing, and it would be more simple to have the mezzanine marked as floor "M."

He must have been a music professor, but he must have been stunned when he got on board.
