I still dont know what changed for Clark with regards to who the love of his life is. In some Superman future continuity, Clark literally searches heaven and hell for Lois Lane to be with her for all eternity. Why didnt he search for Lana? I mean there must be more to change into that. I certainly think this is the start but I doubt this is "The" moment. I'm still hoping for an episode where Lana comes back but this time Clark chooses Lois over her.
