In the TA do you get to volunteer to travel or not??? i dont want to have to go anywhere i dont want to and i have too much at home that im not prepared to leave behind for 3 to 6 months.

@BLiinkz08 You need to get your ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain), requirements for this document is residency for at least 5 years and it costs around £750 but it means you can live/work in the UK without restrictions. I had the same problem because im Australian but thats all I had to do mate.

@andy8324 m8 why do the same job in the army as you do in civvy life yes its a trade but you do the same thing twice why not go something else were you can learn something new like infantry or a driver or signals try something different

@bbuncey steady on jesus im planning on being in the Regulars i mean i have the abilities to be a signaler or electrician but im going infantry to possibly advance onto infantry driver store man or signals operator wat's the deal besides TA do same work but get paid less
