Added 5ml lactic acid to one gallon, and 15 ml to another gallon. Results of both were enjoyable and enlightening.

  • @donosborn Nice! It's funny you posted this video because I ordered the grains earlier for this very recipe posted on your blog (Wit-head). Just another confirmation that this beer had to be brewed heh. Cheers man, keep them coming!

  • @rocknrollpriest Cool. It was a very nice Wit and I will always use a liquid yeast for my Wits from now on, so much better than the dried Belgian one. Good luck.

  • None more black, great Spinal Tap reference. Are you rooting for Giants or Pats. BTW, I am a huge Pats fan and really wanted Pats GB rematch from '96. Cheers...

  • @MeMcNeills I don't know. Neither? Giants knocked out my Packers, and the Patriots are like the Yankees (i.e. I just can't root for them). Glad you caught the ST reference. Love that movie.

  • Great stuff. I did some dregs experiments recently on my channel. I love sour beers and want to experiment with more of these methods. Do you think adding some brett in the end for a few months would give the sourness more character? Or would the acidity be too high?

  • @arrogantbastardale Don't know about that. Not sure if the acid would inhibit the Brett. I don't see why adding Brett wouldn't do a little something though, assuming they did not die. In this case I was not trying to make a "funky" beer though, just sour a Wit a little. But yeah, in homebrewing there is no end to whatever experimenting you want to try. cheers.
