Canon Rebel T1i/500D HD Footage w/ 50mm f/1.8 PLUS Voice over to explain the camera!

STICK AROUND for the video! I know I talked for a little while before it shows, but stick around please! ;-)
I'm just explaining how the 50mm f/1.8 lens (nifty-fifty) works with the T1i in movie mode. It's very good in movie mode (and awesome as a still camera) and I like it as a backup video camera for now, I also like it for still photography, which I am a complete noob at. video looks good but how do you do white balance on T1i? when you say manual you mean turning switch to manual? also was this the lens that came with T1i?

i sold my t1i so i forgot how to white balance it, but when switching to manual you just switch to manual on the lens and the lens was not the one that came with the camera, it's the 50mm f1.8 lens from canon, which is cheap and gives good depth of field. thanks for watching!

lol....don't press the shutter button...instead....press the button with the red mark next to it....it's right next to the LCD screen of the camera

@tvdang7 Yes. It's an EF lens, and the 500D has an EF-S lens mount, compatible with all EF lenses. No adapter required.

@Appleaddict22 The reason there is white balance at all is that most light ain't white :) some light is more blue other light more of a yellow color.

your eyes automatically adapt to the new lighting you step into so that the yellow or blue looks white but your camera doesn't and you have to do it yourself or just let the camera try to do it on auto-mode

Good stuff. whatever program you're using to render your video- disable the frame blend or motion blur.

MAYBE the video was stuttering because ur memory card is not fast enough to record HD video. im not sure, just a possibility
