@mrumsower Well, it IS a fact that he was a citizen of Indonesia, and his name was "Barry Soetoro" This IS related to a very important issue ---- illegal immigration, which is why Lou Dobbs was so interested in it, and he was fired because of that. Even if someone is born in the US, he loses his American citizenship when he becomes a citizen of another country, and the same thing is true for those born in foreign countries, when they become citizens of the US.

Which country of birth should not be an important issue! If significant information comes out in the future maybe it should be. For now, Mcains sketchy record of his country of birth and possible illegal immigration should be dropped!

@superusername Here is the problem with your answer, my job, I deal with doctors all the time. manyu kinds of doctors. so when a majority won't continue, believe me they won't when I say that medicare this month will cut 20% of remembursement then they will feb 2011 medicare will cut 30% reimbursement there will be less doctors. The only way the government can lower the cost of health care in their eyes, pay less, or don't offer needed operations to people. that is cost control that is obama

@JDB7484 Yea, but it has the same effect, it will put the insurance companies out of business. Which in a speach obama gave that is the plan. Healthcare is rising in all sectors. If you cut 25% of medicare reimbursements to doctors. You will have fewer doctors taking seniors. then they go to the government ran health care and like obama said, maybe granny doesn't need that hip replacement. Maybe all she needs is a pill. @daveh69 The healthcare bill did not include a public option or Medicare buy-in. It mainly provides additional regulation and subsidies for private insurance. As to Medicare: Keep in mind that healthcare costs are rising more rapidly in privately funded healthcare than in publicly funded care. You are afraid of moving toward a 3rd world healthcare system, but you ignore the fact that the healthcare system of every other 1st world country is more left-wing than the Democrats' bill.
