  • FreeDOS works well also.

  • Greg after you typed in E:\winnt it asked you where is windows xp set up files were located (BLUE win xp set up screen) and you had E: still as your source directory.

    How come that wasnt changed to C:\i386

    Wasnt the set up files copied over to the C: drive? im was following up until that point. but dont understand that last part.

  • The setup files can be anywhere and should not be on drive C:. Drive C: is a virus target, because that is where Windows is usually installed.

  • what version of MS Dos do u have here ??
