To tell the truth

In 1991 Alex Trebek hosted a remake of the 1960's TV show.I was able to be one of the impersonaters of Birute' Galdikas. Interestingly, I was just going to try and make contact with Birute', since I was planning on going to Borneo and try to visit her camp where she studies orangutans. On this trip, in Zimbabwe Africa, I was in a shop in Victoria Falls, and I turned around and there was Alex Trebek! We chatted about how I was on his show. We saw each other often in town that week he was there. Then months later, the next year, I was able to be in Borneo when Birute was there at her camp and I got to spend 6 weeks there and assist on the research. All those sequence of events, began with this day... Truly kismet and a small world story.

The one on the right, #3. I didn't get any votes. Interestingly, I was wearing what I wore working on a Howler Monkey research project in Venezuela, months before. They thought I was too trendy. Funny, I've done research and later was in Borneo with Birute' and her orangutan research project.

@chinchonchinchon Well, from 2000-2002 there was a version in syndication hosted by John O'Hurley. The game play was pretty much the same, except in addition to the panelists' votes, there was an audience vote. They calculated the highest percentage, and the majority would count as one vote.

I would have given you a vote, even though I knew the real Dr. Birute was in the middle - - since she is the one who saved me and runs the O.F.I. care center for me (and 350 other orangutan orphans.) Come back to Borneo again!!

Trebeck is good at hosting any show. Jeoprady, Concentration, this show, and even the Geography Bee. He said he likes playing straight man to the 10-12 year olds.
