Yeah, they changed, and why not. Better than totally chewing out old concepts.
My taste changes as well, but I really don't feel anything for the recent modest mouse songs. They are slick, and boring with that. I fell in love with the rather discomforting sound from their older records, and they luckily made such a huge amount of it that that will do for me.
I hope they get stupendously rich and famous, they worked bloody hard for it.

the demolition pictures are probably something to do with Isaac's dislike of the suburbanizing of rural areas. Played backwards to show how he thinks that building is actually destructive.
Or maybe it's cause it looks cool, i dunno.

I'm surprised they chose to show all those demolition clips in the background ten days after 9/11 (granted they are played in reverse).
Love the song. The lyrics are profound in so many ways.

yes youse guys were at this show at the ridglea. i think aldumbo, jaime-lo and drizawll were also at this show. there is another video from the built to spill show youse guys also attended.
