I love how its only Billy and Jimmy that are actually PLAYING anything... with Paz "helping out" a little. I feel bad, those scumbags used Billy and rode the wave.

Billy hasn't gone into specific detail about what happened, but I get the impression he felt that it was only him and Jimmy that were there for the music, and that the other 3 had real bad attitudes, and poor work ethic. He's also mentioned drugs, and David Pajo sleeping with the record producer's girlfriend during the making of the album. Billy seems to think that the whole thing was going wrong from the start. A shame, such potential in that band...

can someone please tell me why zwan broke up?
-
@PantheonLincoln why did they break up?
-
Parts of this song remind me of 'My Love is Winter' on Teargarden.

Too bad the crowds can't be as humbled and respectful at new SP shows as they are here! Amazing rendition! This song is truly a gem.

This should of been Zwan's first single. With piano preferably.
Yeah, I'm totally with you on that; everything from Djali Zwan was amazing. I had always wished they'd come out with some sort of studio release with these songs, like 'Love Lies in Ruin', 'W.P.', 'To Love You', 'Think You Know', etc. In fact, I personally preferred the Djali Zwan stuff over Mary Star. But now we have The Smashing Pumpkins back! It's such an amazing, almost surreal sort of feel that they're back together ♥.

It was never released in full on CD.
The closest thing to an official release was the DVD that came with some editions of the album "Mary Star of the Sea", which had a small clip of the song on it, along with other non-album tracks.
It will probably never come out. Billy was so bitter about how Zwan broke up he can't stomach listening to those songs now.
That makes me sad - So many great songs that never made it to an album.
