You're a GREAT guitar player, but you talk a little too much. No offense.

i think the reason why people play the chorus with the power chords is cause it might be a harmonization thing that mick and jim do cause if you listen closely to the song you can kinda hear both parts of it but i do agree with you on the chorus riff, that's pretty much how i play it, and i do agree too with people playing it in anything higher than drop a it kinda just makes you go wtf cause pretty much all of all hope is gone was drop a and vol 3 was drop b so that could be the confusion idk

@xAcidxXxRainx Not true, most of All Hope is Gone was done in Drop B. Execute, Gematria, Sulfur, Dead Memories, Vendetta, Butcher's Hook, Child of Burning Time, and 'Till We Die were all done in Drop B. Psychosocial, Gehenna, This Cold Black, and Wherein Lies Continue were in A.

@JDK0316191 weird, well that could be the confusion too :P i guess the tabbing sites lied to me, damn them, either way, it's easy for people to get confused when it comes to that

@xAcidxXxRainx To be a good guitarist (or musician of any kind for that matter), you have to train your ears to hear certain notes and articulations. Ergo, you must NOT use tabs. Tabs are murderous for aspiring guitar players. They don't teach you to learn tempo, rhythm, picking patterns or notes. Like me, if you played a single note, I could tell you what it was just by hearing it.

@xAcidxXxRainx Plus, I'd feel remiss if I didn't add that 99.9% of the tabs you read are wrong.
