Those fouls took them out of the game, he's done it many times before. He knows how to use his body to draw fouls and that's very important for a big man to do. Splitter does things that won't show up on the stat sheet, the same way Ginobili does. The average nba fan will say he sucks because they don't really understand the game and how much of an impact the little things do. Go ahead and watch him next season, watch how he frees up people with screens, fouls he draws etc

They weren't used to playing with him, Parker and Hill refused to pass it to him when he was wide open. He also creates shots for other people by setting a shit load of great screens to open up people wide lanes to the basket which the Spurs failed to do in the playoffs.

He can also draw fouls on players, in the LA game he drew 7 fouls in 19 mins, 2 on Bynum, 1 on Gasol, 2 on Kobe, 2 on Odom...

If he gets legit playing time he could easily average 12pts and 8 rebounds.

Splitter boxes out like a beast for other players to grab boards, his POSITIONAL defense is top notch, defense isn't just about blocking shots or getting steals, it's about being able to stay in front of your man and contesting their shot and that's exactly what Splitter did.

He doesn't really have a post game but his specialty is the Pick and Roll he scores like crazy when they run it for him because he's so mobile. The Spurs almost NEVER passed him the ball because...

You only think he sucks because you don't know shit about basketball lmao. Splitter was the 2nd best big on the Spurs besides Duncan when he finally got playing time. You can't expect a rookie to produce when you throw him out on the floor for the last 2 minutes in garbage time every 10 or so games which is what Pop did like an idiot. Did you even watch the Spurs when TD was out? He was the main reason they stayed competitive in those close games they lost.

There is nothing great about his achievements dumbass other than growing tall, and being a little quicker, and little more coordinated than average big man. He's shitty. I seen him play all the time on the Spurs, and I am a Spurs fan jackass. He has no game, he only catches the ball underneath the basket, that's it. He ain't strong, nor specially skills.
