Supra MK3 @ Nürburgring top speed

Toyota Supra MK3 with 7M-GTE testing "top" speed at Nürburgring summer of 2009. The driver didn't actually floor it before the last 20-30km/h, this car has massive torque!
This car later participated at 2009 EURO Supra meet, (SONiD), were it won the price for most powerful Supra MK3.

it looked like it hit 265 km/h rather easily and was eager for more speedo rotation :P

@enigmaPL The only thing stopping us was the bad brakes... The goal was the "handbrake-light".

And as you might have noticed on the video, the driver didn't floor it until he passed aprox220km/h. ;)

lol so i have to ask...how many hp and what turbo?

@crazy8sx08 Precision turbo. Believe it had 542hp and 690nm at that time.

I just love the sound of the 7M engine!

Man what i would give to go round that last corner and just stomp on it until the car goes no more.. Gotta get a top speed run in sometime!!
