An Oregon family faithfully followed their GPS right into a snowstorm on a remote highway, stranding them there for more than 24 hours on Christmas. (Dec. 29)
This is dumb. You can't blindly follow a GPS system. The first time I ever traveled with one it tried to guide me across a mountain top on unpaved logging trails.
Nuvi worked perfectly i wanna go to hilo lava tube end up in lava red zone.with broken tires.

the GPS worked perfectly.
however, users should note that the GPS does not take weather conditions into account when planning the route.

what does GPS have to do with them getting stuck? it was the snow that was the problem.
