OK, it's true, you can't have a side project when you're on a band like Metallica, but Hetfield was an idiot with Jason since he started in Metallica, also, why did Mustaine had to be kicked-out? He has said that if they told him to go to rehab, he would have go to rehab.

although he was a great guitar player fuckin Mustain deserved to be kicked,and as for Newsted, dont get me wrong i like the dude but he fucked it all up with hes gay project called Echobrain,i mean u cant have personal projects when u playing in Tallica,so at the end of the day Hetfield did what Hetfield had to do

No, Hetfield is an asshole because he kicked out Mustaine without even an advice, he pissed off Newsted so bad (and Hetfield knew it) that he left the band and McGovney was sick of them too, I think that's enough to be considered an asshole

i feel sad for all the four members in the 1986-2001 lineup,but mostly for jason. guess,what happens,happens for good. maybe if jason hadn't left,he would be frustrated inside and end up like cobain and we would lose a precious bass player and metallica would have split up thinking it was their fault. but since jason left,he is happy with his own band,metallica is happy with their's,all the members are very close friend.whatever happened,METALLICA RULES !!!!\m/!!!
