Dude you're a great teacher! I love how you start with and pound on WHY instead of just how.

Lengh X Lengh + Width X Width Square root that and you will get your angle to be more accurate . : Tim

your 3 and 4 are backwards on your triangle(4 should correspond with the longer of the 2 short legs)...and the first time you said "if this number is much smaller than this" (on the long wall) the long wall should have been brought in at the right handside, not out on the left like you showed. that would just make the "left hand number" even larger. good video though man i did learn some stuff

I get how to attach to floor joist when the wall goes across the joists. I can't find anywhere how to attach the wall when to wall runs in the same direction as the floor joists.

@jmmac31 You need to add blocks between the joist. +++Bob

The air-space behind the framing and foundation wall is important so the insulation that is put in wall cavity does not touch the foundation wall lessening the chance of moisture build-up on back of insulation+++Bob

something you have missed is that the triangle corners must all be horizontal for this to work. Otherwise you will have an error which grows across the room in just the same way as a framing error.

@podgytube I see your point, however generally, the surface of the concrete closest to the foundation wall is usually the most horizontal/level area of basement due to the slab sitting on the level footer. That being said in more extreme cases this too need be a consideration. Even garage floors have at least two decent corners to work from, Thanks for pointing out my ommision,Alot of people read these posts and this will help get the word out+++Bob
