This is how we get even slices of homemade bread, perfect for sandwiches or toast! We use an electric nice (it cuts through the bread like butter), we score the top of the loaf first as it's easier to cut through the crust a bit and size each slice by eye that way, then we go back and just let the weight of the knife slice through each score mark that we made on the top. As long as you just go straight down, it works great.

Make sure to let your bread cool at least 15 - 20 minutes before you start cutting it, otherwise it may turn doughy inside or squish down too much.

  • how do you make your bread

  • @lightshorti We have tried many different recipes, but I think we finally found "the one" that we like the best. We will be making a video on how to make the bread hopefully soon (the bread is so good and stays soft for days).
