"Let's....dance!" I suggested, jumping up and dancing around stupidly with Miley who was happy to oblige.
"Note to future Miley: Insert song here," Nick said to the camera as we continued to dance. "I wonder if theres music on this laptop..." he trailed off, clicking on a few things before the sound of Born this way by Lady Gaga was emitted from the speakers. He seemed to have skipped some of the song because it was already half way through the first verse when Miley and I started to sing along while acting out the lyrics dramatically.
"Let's switch to a different song," Miley said once the chorus was over and changed the song to The Story Of Us by Taylor Swift and we danced around some more until we got bored and changed it again to Super Bass by Nicki Minaj. Miley and I tried to rap with the song but by half way through the first verse we were both laughing so much we couldn't go on.
"This is an epic fail," I said through my laughter as I leaned on Nick who was still sitting down shaking his head at both of us.
"Yeah, I'm totally lost," she said, while I listened carefully to try to catch up with the song.
"That's the kinda dude I was lookin' for," I said pointing to Nick and smiling at the perfect timing. "and yes you'll get slapped if you're lookin hoe," I continued trying not to laugh again meanwhile Miley was leaning against the wall trying to catch her breath. I turned to Nick giving him a look as I said the next line. "I said, excuse me you're a hell of a guy, I mean my my my you're like pelican fly. I mean you're so shy, and I'm loving your tie," I went on, stroking Nick's invisible tie as he laughed loudly and I finally gave in and started to laugh too.
"...Someone please tell them who the eff I is. I am Selena Jonas and I..." I trailed off, losing my voice to more laughter as Miley reached out her hand so I could help her stand up straight again.
"Next song," she said, sighing happily. "This is freakin' hilarious." The sound of Dirty Dancer by Enrique Iglesias and Usher poured out of the speakers next and Miley and I instantly started to dance with the beat. On the line 'she just wanna touch' I ran my fingers along Nick's chest, locking my eyes with him, surprised to see how much lust I could read in them. I bit my lip before using my finger to try to convince him to dance with us. Nick wouldn't be the dancing type, and there was a slim chance of him doing anything crazy in front of the camera. I returned to dancing with Miley when he refused to join.
"I can't be tamed!" Miley yelled when she heard the line 'It's insane how she tames'.
By the third chorus I had managed to get Nick on his feet and though he barely did anything, I had fun dancing with him, if you know what I mean.
"Oh...gosh. I think that's enough dancing for today," Miley said when the room went quiet again with the lack of music. "Love you, see you guys later!" she said, before turning off the camera.
"Oh fuck," I laughed loudly, collapsing onto Nick's chair. "I'm beat."
"You're going to need to spend a lot of time editing that Miles," Nick smiled, playing with my ponytail from behind.
"No, I think I'll just leave it. That was just so fucking hilarious, I don't even know why," she said, still unable to wipe the smile off her face. "Although I may need to cut the part where she was like grinding on you."
"Yeah," he chuckled, twisiting around my hair before releasing it and sighing softly as I closed my eyes, feeling sleepy.
"You dance pretty good, considering you're pregnant," Miley grinned, clicking something on her laptop again as I thanked her sarcastically.
"Should we get back to work? We still have a lot to do," Nick pointed out.
Suddenly, for the first time in a while, there was no laughter in the room.
"Yeah, we should," she agreed, taking a sip of the cofee which was probably cold by now but it didn't seem to concern her.
