Why is everyone talking about svt's? I own an st which stock is hardly slower than the svt but if you put any money in them the st is way more powerful and alot quiker than the svt. The st is new technology, little mods make nice gains on the st's.

ppl compare the svt to the srt 4, the srt 4 to the cobalt, and the cobalt to the svt, but when i type in all 3, i see neon, svt focus, and a mazda protege (if thats how u spell it)

@kromko52 Yeah I owned a 2003 svt focus and that thing was absolutely horrible off the line. I raced a 2005 zx3 Duratec hatch which had a cat back and an intake and he walked right away from me.

I own a svt..an it really isnt that fast. it handle well in turns an stuff like it was designed to. It can take down other cars in category like civics an what not. But by no means is it as fast as a SS Cobalt. you comparin two totally different cars. The first year supercharged ones would be closer but still no win especially compared to the new turbo ones...

i own one of the new turbo SS cobalts and let me tell ya i raced an svt focus it was like the car was just sitting at a red light and ate shit

All ZX2s have the DOHC motor, and actually the zetec in the ZX2 has VCT on the exhaust cam which the Focus lacks.

Im also owner of a '09 turbo Cobalt SS, i also agree a SVT stand NO chance.....

agreed... *bias, i'm an owner of one* turbo slowbalts are not to be underestimated at all, but it may be more fair to give the svt a head start...

yeah it has a 75 shot on it. the guy is 1 of my friends we were dicking around on the hiway. so if u dont like what u see i dont know what to tell ya besides come and see for urself if u feel ur car is worthy.
