Underdog 2 Chapter 9

Good job on the comments on the last chapter guys :D and I think I'm going to keep it p.o.v it just seems easier to write plus you seem to like it better that way lol
Sorry it took a while for me to up load school started again, and I only think I'm going to have time to upload maybe once twice a week, but I'll upload tones on the weekend and plus summer is nearly here only two more weeks then I can post regularly again
Yes I know it sucks that most of you guys have broken up from school and I haven't but heck thats what you get when you live in a different country.
Anyway ignore me back to the story enjoy :D


Kevin's p.o.v

I held Lauren tightly in my arms as I led us towards the car. Each of us walking in our chosen couples.
Nick and Sam were far in front chasing each other laughing as nick tried to catch Sam. I hadn't seen them smiling this much in such a long time I think tonight was just what they needed hopefully it would be enough to keep them together. It pained me to see them angry at each other it wasn't how things were meant to be they were and always were meant to be best friends.
Beside us were Chris and Mia, walking closely beside each other chatting comfortably. They werent touching but I'm pretty sure I could see their hands keep on brushing.
Behind us was Joe and Alexis, finally after Joe had snapped out of his little daze he had wrapped his arms around her deciding that he would like to join us on our group date and started to slowly I might add follow us.

I looked down at my own girl wrapped tightly in my arms and smiled
"You looked beautiful" I whispered in her ear again for about the tenth time since I had seen her tonight
"So you said" she smiled blushing slightly. I love the fact I could still make her blush
"I love you" I whispered in her ear again and she pushed her body further back into my arms
"I love you to" she mumbled into my chest. I kissed her neck softly and she became lose in my arms
"Kevin if you don't stop that I'm going to attack you in the middle of the hallway" she barely breath and I chuckled as I kissed her neck once more quickly before letting her free from my arms folding my hand around hers instead.
"Better?" I asked she rolled her eyes playfully at me before smiling breaking out into laughter
"What?" I quizzed smiling at her
"I really have missed you" she beamed
"You've only just figured that out?" I asked shock horror playing across my face playfully.
"well I certainly haven't missed you sarcasm" she smirked as she hit my chest breaking free from my grip running towards nick and Sam leaving me to follow her a goofy smile playing across my face just like it always did when she was around.


It wasn't long before we were headed into the restaurant I had to admit it was quite fancy, the walls were decorated in exquisite furnishings chandeliers hanging from the ceilings. The restaurant was lit dimly creating a romantic feeling.
"Well I'm sticking to the salad" Mia whispered playfully in Chris's ear as they stood next to us and I watched a smile break across his lips
"You think this is too much?" Lauren asked playing with my hand that was intertwined with hers. She tended to do that a lot without realising it was beyond cute
"Nothing is too much for you" I smiled and she laughed
"I miss you cheesy lines"
"Cheesy?" I asked holding my hand over my heart and she laughed again
"I swear there getting worst then Joe's" she stated and I saw Joes head snap up
"Hey mine aren't bad" Joe argued and Sam who was beside him let out a snort covering her mouth quickly but it was too late Joe had already heard
"What?...you think there bad?" Joe snapped
"Well they made me laugh" Sam shrugged
"They were meant to" and this time Mia laughed
"Ok what does everyone find so funny?" he questioned
"Well have they ever actually worked?" nick added joining the conversation
"I...err...yes" Joe stuttered
"When?" I asked my eye brows rising
"With Alexis" Joe stated holding up his hand that was intertwined with hers
"Oh wow really which one did he use?" Lauren asked excitedly joining the conversation as we were all seated at a table
"Ohh let me guess the library card one...that one always used to make me laugh" Mia noted and Joes eyes widen at her as Alexis blushed
"Oh my gosh it was wasn't it" Sam smiled
"What is this pick on Joe time" Joe whined and everyone laugh

I had nearly forgotten just how much fun we had all together. Even if there were two extra members now nothing seemed different well not for me.
