  • I really don't think the registration is very good. Your idea that is sounds as it should, should suffice, but thank you I don't think it sounds as it should.

  • @TeakScoop Perhaps you can tell me how it should sound?

  • AWESOME piece. I want a copy to play at Saint Peter's. Beautifully conceived and rendered. Bravo.

  • @MarkHusey

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for your most kind comments.

    All the best,

    Wayne

  • Joe, loved this piece!! How cool and non traditional thus ultra refreshing to my ears! I right away recognized the Austin console (it looks like the one I grew up playing at The 'little church around the corner' in NYC), but is it in fact an Austin? If so, how large? That was great! excuse me, I now must subscribe to your channel/page................

  • The Trumpet tune has a very regale feel to it. Very nice. The organ console your seated at has peaked my curiosity. Its not too often I see consoles without the traditional side jambs.

  • @TeakScoop I see Youtube has another arrogant, know-it-all organ/organist critic. These types are the very reason why I've banned comments on a lot of my own videos. There are more organ critics on Youtube than there are movie critics in Hollywood! If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. With that said, thanks for posting this Wayne. Your videos have given me many ideas for preludes, offertories, etc. for my own Sunday duties! Thanks again! Joe

  • @joenwayne TeakScoop left a doosie on my page, too. Sounds like a winner.

  • As the entry below mine from 'voiceofvictory88' would be similar to what I perceived. The accompnament is just too heavy for the solo parts. Cut back on the reeds just a bit. The solo reeds are good.

  • Apology not necessary. I appreciate that you like my Tpt. Tune.

  • Well then I do apologize, that was most certainly a mistake on my part, please let me reiterate that it really is a nice piece.

  • Hi,

Thanks for viewing and your comments. As the composer and performer, I'm satisfied that it sounds as it should. The first time the melody comes in where it is to be soloed out is at 0:25. In the video whenever my right hand is on the Great, then that's the part written for the melody to be a solo.

    Kind regards,

    Wayne
