So as it turns out, credit for this beautiful piece of music belongs to a baker from Toronto named Christopher Stopa. As to the source of the leak, and the origin of the "Putting Ketchup In The Fridge" title, check out this link for (almost) all the answers: http://imgur.com/zWr9Y

Lyrics:
Haven't got a hope
Haven't got a prayer to hear me
Can't say that I know what
Or why am I drifting away

Anxious forces from above
Keep on asking me
How do you sit still?
How do you sit still?
(no more no more no more?)

There was a time
When you shared a hope with me
And all these colours must be fading
Cause I'm finding it hard to see

So follow me, my love
Cause I've been wondering
How do you sit still?
How do you sit still?

Everybody knows
Someone's going to fall
Well, you decide just how badly
I don't wanna watch
Turn the other way
It all goes bad

How do you sit still?
How do you sit still?

  • The best Radiohead song Radiohead never wrote.

  • It's on iTunes if anyone's interested - search Christopher Stopa - it's on the 'Morris Air EP', and it's called 'Sit Still'.

  • It's obvious the guy has talent, but what pisses me off,is why piggy back on Radiohead's fame for popularity. The guitar solo in the intro is similar to 'lull'. Hope no copyright infringements there, or else he'd be strung out 'high and dry'.

  • I am so confused >__<

  • @krick1030

It's funny (or sad?), but I think you are not entirely wrong... Thom HAS a perfect voice, he just does not use it anymore :-(

  • Amazing! His voice is just perfect. Actually, it sounds a lot like Thom's (but absolutely not like Andy Yorke's!), but there's also a little something of Jeff Buckley's or Rufus Wainwright's voice in it. I think he could do a great career! Can't wait to listen to other tracks from him. (He MUST be a big Radiohead's fan, or else something's wrong !) And, anyway, thanks for the lyrics (I am French, and some of them were not obvious to me)...

  • @krick1030 Blasphemy

  • This whole deal must be Radiohead pulling a joke. I want to see/hear Stopa sing if he says this is him.

  • This is blowing my mind so hard.

  • Im radiohead fan but i need accept this a great song

  • Hearing Chris Stopa's story is kind of weird. How the hell did Cold Play make it being a Radiohead rip-off but his band didn't?

    This song is great.

  • Thom! do a duet with this guy!
