  • this video is what firefighting is all about.

  • Listen to the PA in the background starting @ 1:03

  • I saw the aftermath of this fire and a little while after I found out that the DCFD actually rescued someone! I was in total shock (even watching this video I was scared for the guy)

  • tower 3 at work baby

  • awesome job on the ladder rescue to 3's, and for the non firefighters that may watch this read my fellow brothers and sisters are saying in these comments. You have to look at the picture as a whole, and include your safety, and your fellow firefighters safety in that picture.

  • dude my middle was just next to it i went there 2 years ago

  • No, No, No and NO!

Firefighters are there to help people but we are not there to committ suicide! I still have to worry about my safety as well as all my other brother firefighters before worrying about entering a hostile enviornment. What good are dead firemen to a trapped citizen? Why would you think your or anyone elses life is more important than mine.

That was an unrealistic and selfish comment for you to make.

  • I think every person in the world should see this video. good reality check.

MAD props to the Tower 3 platoon for the rescue.
