  • How did you hand tame him? All I can make mine do is jump on my foot.

  • I hand tamed her by getting her out of the cage nearly everyday & kept putting her in the palm of my hand until eventually she got used to it & now she sits on my finger, arm, shoulder etc. It may depend on what breed your canary is for it to be hand tamed!

  • how do you hand tame the canary its scared of me so all it does is stay a metre away

  • he trust you :D thats nice. )

  • I have a canary I would like to tame him I do not know how to start because if you get too close he jumps to another and when you stick your hand in the cage he goes on a perch and he remains well but when you calm your hand toward the bird flies away to another pole and goes into the cage fluttering around what can I do about it because when I stand with my head the cage he comes to me and if I nay, he squeaks like he talks the more I get him back without me tame hand in the cage a lot to do.

  • I dont even remember how I trained my parakeet and tiel..

  • NICE BIRD. IS IT A VARIEGATED BORDER HEN?

  • All your birds are very nice.

  • Aww, how cute ( ")<

  • wow , i have never seen a hand tamed canary before,,, and she jumped on your finger how cute :)

  • I have two 3 month old canaries. I hand tamed them in 2 days and they eat romain lettuce from my hand

  • I never really realized canaries can get that tame! I thought they wouldn't come on the hand etc, like other pet birds do. So so so cute.... Would be awesome to have birds like that! :) Keep posting! Ps. Does your female cockatiel(s) make any imitated sounds (like whistle melodies etc)? Or is it mainly the boys who do that? I'm taking care of a female now.
