On one door I've applied a single layer of eDead80 & eDead TekLite, the other I haven't. See if you can guess which is which. :)

p.s. yes I know my car is filthy. Not worth washing anything until pollen season is over.

  • i have a question, can you apply two layer of this stuff

  • Absolutely - but unless you're going for something like SPL competition, more than 50% coverage of a mass loading product (e.g. dynamat) is overkill. It just gets to the point of diminishing returns. The closed cell foam stuff (TekLite), however, weighs almost nothing, and you'll hear more & more improvement the thicker you can apply it. I only put one layer on to start, but really want to do a second.

  • @Daemione i think it's more like 25% coverage, no?

  • @link0587 depends on the panel. A thick panel that's braced nearby won't see much improvement - in this case (an economy car with big/tall door panels, I noticed an improvement going from 30% to 50%. All subjective, of course.
