This is the "official" first episode of the Phase 2/ New Voyages series. William Windom reprises his role as Commodore Matthew Decker in this episode as the crew of the Enterprise must travel bacl in time to avert a war between the Federation and an army of "Doomsday" (planet killer) devices.

A big mistake all fan films in the Sci Fi genera make is devoting all their energy to the FX instead of finding good actors. What I would do is find the best actors I could then the best story then sets then finally the FX. A film with great acting and script but with lousy FX is tolerable but a show with stellar FX and crappy, wooden acting is intolerable!!!

I love the acrobatics the Klingon ship was doing. LOL. inertial dampers or no, no way in hell could it spin and maneuver that fast without breaking apart or turning its crew into a fine red mist.
