  • @Akshole People sometimes over exagerate, the 5.56 is lethal at all ranges and besides in vietnam they don't even wear body armor so theres nothing really to argue about.

  • @deltaforce653 Thanks again for the reply, I'm a gun enthusiast.

  • Army analysts claim that most firefights occur in ranges below 500 yards.

  • @deltaforce653 Thanks. But G36 is chambered for the 5.56 cartridge right? The veretans in Vietnam claims it has barely enough stopping power to drop hostiles.

  • @Akshole The G36, it can out range all the rifles you listed, its fairly light so easier on your arms, ammunition is also lightwieght so you can carry more, and its also very reliable compared to the LWRC. The two rifles you listed that has the worst range would be the ACR and the AK 47 but they are more reliable then all the other rifles (its been tested)

  • Just throwing this out to anybody who knows better: Which would you take with you if you're revisiting Vietnam- SIG 551,LWRC PSD 6.8, Remington ACR, HK G36, AK 47?

  • @DeltaElite121 I don't know for the 553 but the 550 is about 2500 swiss francs so it's quite expensive, but it's normal for swiss quality

  • @IXIIDanIIXI yes. i have the 550 since im in the army and im a left handed shooter. it's perfect.

  • @sgtscream1291 not true. riffles are still behing manufactured at sig in schaffhausen. i was there a couple of months ago because i had to get a stamp for my sphinx pistol. it's the handgund that they're made in germany.

  • is this gun comfortable to shoot left handed (left shoulder)? and does the stock fold both ways?
