This is what it looks like when a taillight bulb of a 1968 T-2 is exchanged to an LED bulb. The gap between the sharp LED and the rest of the body old and worn gives the bus an interesting look.

When I changed the bulb to LED, response from the taillight (with the exchanged bulb) grew faster than with the old regular bulb. This bus is still in the process of its taillights being replaced. The left bulb is exchanged to LED, and the right one is still the regular bulb. You can see that the left LED bulb starts flashing faster than the one on the right.

LED is especially recommended for using on brake lights because of their quick response to the brake pedal being stepped on.

The camera used to film this clip isn't a movie camera (it's a picture camera) so the clip is very low quality. You'd have to see the real thing to really see how different LED lighting looks. They are much sharper and brighter than light from regular bulbs. Install LED bulbs on your car and experience the difference.

LED might not be for you if you're a fan of the old look of the dim light from regular bulbs.
