Safin rolled his ankle in the last set, while he was leading on the scoreboard. Given his past injury with his ankle (he was doing his comeback) he played carefully, and obviously his ankle was a problem. Almagro finally took advantage and won. But on every point Safin was losing, Almagro was demonstrating like he was winning only due to his game and not (also) because of Safin's injury. Safin didn't shake his hand because of this behaviour during the match.

almagro and the crowd put safin off. and to top it off safin rolled his ankle during the match. definitely not a choke my safin, just got destroyed by the people against him. as a result, he got fired up and refused to shake almagro's hand...and rightly so.
