Signe Salveson and Clint Riddle, "The Clear Branch", perform an original song written by Signe. Instruments used were a Guild 000-size flattop and a Martin D-35. The old guitar in the photographs of Signe is a late-1800's parlor-size guitar made in the mountains of Western North Carolina and given to my Grandmother, Letha Rose Lewis, before the turn of the last century. I have included her photograph--she is wearing a blue dress. Signe and Clint use this guitar frequently, but is was not used in the recording.
